I have a Sony NEX5n compact camera that I like to take out when i go riding as it takes great (near) SLR quality pictures but is small and light enough to cart up and down hills.
Currently i use a Crumpler bag for it that i normally loop over my shoulder but under my rucksack when I go out. It is a nice bag but it is too difficult to unzip and flaps about a lot... especially over rough sections.
Does anyone have any recommendations for camera bags that they use for similar cameras when out biking?
I want something that is easily accessible but keeps that camera out of the way and preferably safe from water.

I use a Kata holster for my 5N.
I currently used the 10L, however if I was buying again I'd buy one with a small pocket at the bottom to store spare batteries/flash etc.
Stood up to over a years worth of abuse no problem. Don't use it much on the bike, but do wear it for winter and rock climbing, usually alongside a rucksack.

Lowepro AW60 fits the slightly larger NEX 6 with the power zoom 16 - 50 mm lens. A neat fit but very good! 😀 Weatherproof cover too!
