Its my 9 year olds birthday soon and looking for a camelback or similar for him. any Recomendations. Reasonable size for his age with a little storage. Is it worth looking at ladies sizes??

I got a Camelbak Mini Mule for my 9yo.

Look like this, just like dad's but a little smaller !

If you live near a Decathlon they have a good range - kid specific, & various adult ones - at about half the cost of mainstream brands.
