Part of our club ride this weekend is a bunch of roadies going and doing the route of the Cairngorm Classic 50 mile route. I've found maps on the Hands On event site and Bikely, but both are a bit vague so I was wondering if anyone had a fairly accurate route description we could use?
And just how severe is the route? I assume people can bail out on this route easily since it retraces its steps a lot.
Cheers

I did the 100 mile route and it really isn't that hard, the first 20 odd miles absolutely flew by. Sorry don't know the route for the 50 though.

Sounds perfect- they're all reasonable cyclists, but none of them are into any really serious stuff. They can all handle an alpine pass or 2 in a day.
