[Closed] C2C with a kiddie trailer?

OK so I realise that this isn't strictly about mountain biking but I thought some of you good people might be able to answer my question.

Planning to do the road version of the C2C with 3 year old son in a trailer (taking about 5 days) but have heard that eastern end of the route ending at Sunderland has lots of barriers that might not be trailer compatible. Anyone tried to do this with a trailer? Anyone know whether taking the option to end at Tynemouth is barrier free?

thanks in advance

There is a few barriers on the eastern end. Mostly the type that you have to kinda zig zag through. Probably come across them about every 2 miles for the last 20 miles. Maybe a bit more closer to Sunderland.

Not sure about the Tynemouth trail.

If I remember correctly from when I did it on a tandem a few years back, the Newcastle end has a number of barriers, so you may need to unhitched a few times, but I got the tandem past everything with massive panniers on it so im sure you'll be fine.
