Some of my local byways and bridleways have suffered as a result of consecutive wet seasons and motocross bikes, in places some deep ruts have formed. A good number of these have become covered over with vegetation leading to a couple of over the bars type moments, I had a particularly nasty off the other day when I dropped my front wheel into a hidden rut.
From what I can see, there's been no maintenance whatsoever over the last couple of years and sections of the route are bordering on becoming dangerous.
Who would I contact - the local council or the landowner?
