I have been looking to buy a power meter for the last three years but I have finally got the money, which will disappear on exciting things like electricity bills, kids swimming lessons etc if I don’t spend it fast.
The power meter I’m looking at is for sale in the uk but is around £40-50 more expensive than in Germany or Italy (both the shops I’m looking at are reputable sites one of which I have brought frames and bits from in the past). Given that we’ll be out of the EU in a couple of months would anyone buy something like a power meter (which are not exactly renowned for perfect reliability) from an EU outlet where a return might be that much more expensive in the future?
I suspect that as it is a pretty niche part UK shops are pricing on the basis I won’t risk it
