how do you choose a saddle?? I'm in the market for a new one and I'm not sure where to start when it comes to getting one

my usual criteria is to find something similar to what I've already got if that's comfortable or different if it's not.
I suppose the ultimate answer to that is try as many as you can. Not desperately practical though.
To answer the question, you ought to look for - suitable width (how wide are you?), padded but not overly, easy to get behind (no wide flared bit at the back), light enough, cheap enough, durable, choice of colours… Er - just try a Charge Spoon.

spoons, and not the leather covered ones, the synthetic is fine and stays good looking for some time.... Ti if your flush/flash or just the plain old chromo rail is good... but only black ones in stock anywhere right now.
