I’m ‘thinking’ about a new bike - I fancy the Spesh Epic 8 Pro but they just don’t seem to be in stock- plenty of Evo versions though.
It’s as an addition to my old Scott Spark 900rc (100mm sus) and for trail use - mainly Blues and ‘easier’ Reds, mainly just to make things easier as I’m fast approaching 60 - the Epic 8 sounds just the job - climbs well and de ends well. Reviewers say it’s better balanced than the Evo version so that’s why I’ve gone for the regular 8.
any suggestions on where they are available or if the Evo would be a better bet?

Seem to be a few about at the usual places (Balfe's, Sigma, maybe Certini?) but it very much depends what size you need. Seems to be a few discounts on the S-Works bikes that bring them down to Epic 8 Pro rrp?
I'm looking at either an 8 or Evo, possibly an old stock Epic Evo, and have come to the conclusion that I can't really be model specific if they have my size in one of them. I'm planning on using mine as an XC and was leaning towards the 8 so reckon the Evo might be more up your street?
Stock levels have been terrible for months now so you'd hope they'll be getting some more before long? If not I might have to look at something else.
