My good lady has decided that she likes mountain biking, which is a good thing, but now wants anew bike (hardtail), the old 26" Rockhopper is er, old.
I've been having a look around and the market is pretty shy on £500-£700 HT's at the minute so I'm looking at building. Saw this frame on CR https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/brand-x-ht-01-hardtail-mtb-frame-27-5-2019/rp-prod130452
Also looking to upgrade some bits and bobs on my Mega so will have some donor parts.
Thoughts appreciated.

Probably more expensive to build if buying everything new, but weigh that up against trying to source a new bike...
And if you're using spares/hand me downs then it probably makes more sense building, plus you get to spec everything.
