I'm looking for some big rides to inspire me. I prefer enduro/natural trails to trail centres so have this lot so far.
1. Tour of the Cairngorms. Possibly in 3 days rather than 4.
2. Carn Ban Mor. Looks ace, particularly with the zig-zag descent mentioned on here - easy to find from above?
3. Torridon & Coulin. Possibly at the top end of my technical ability.
4. Foinaven & Arkle. There was a description of this on offroadadventrues-online.com but that site seems to have gone now.
5. The Gleann Lichd loop. Mentioned on here a while ago, looks ace.
Obviously loops are preferable, don't mind a bit of hike-a-bike if it gets you to good riding. Links would be helpful, I've found mtbtrails.info which has some of the above.
Add the West Highland Way in a day?
I did a variation of the Foinaven/Arkle loop in December.. http://www.blog.scotroutes.com/2014/01/rounding-off-year.html
Also check out the Glen Kinglass loop

Ah, I'd forgotten about Glen Kinglass - your blog makes it looks more interesting than the description in Wild Trails which makes it sound like it's all estate track.
