A friend has asked me to help find them a nice bike on the bike to work scheme. Now i've a few ideas, just putting this out there to see if anyone comes up with anything i haven't considered yet.
Looking for a mountainbike (funny that?), she's small so either a small women's frame or around a 14-15" normal frame, budget is £800 as per the bike to work, main is kicker is however it has to be sourced through Halfords so super special deals aren't possible. Just standard retail models that Halfords will be able to source & provide at normal RRP.
Take a close look at the Voodoo range of hardtails on the Halfrauds website. They're stonking value for money - I recently got the Wanga on the C2W scheme.
Unfortunately most Halfords don't stock the Voodoos but can order them in..
(oh and Halfords can actually order in virtually any brand of bike)
Didn't really like the look of the voodoo's, at least what they have up on their website & yes i'm aware of the fact that Halfords will order in anything that's available. Hence the question.
Boardmans are stonking value for moeny. Not sure how small they go,though.
