Love em, most comfy saddles ever. The only bad things about them are the wider models (B17 etc) can be hard to get off the back of for off road riding, and they don't cope with really wet conditions very well , though OK with mudguards.

Good saddles for the touring type riding i do on mine. felt like wood initially, but soon got shaped by my bum into a great comfort saddle. Wouldn't use on a cross bike - way to heavy and as Sam said quite wide. I have a B17.

I have a b17 pre-aged version, very nice it is too. I tried a Swift but it felt like i was riding on a fist! So, not all Brooks suit all bums.

Should also have added - you really do need to give them a good 200 miles or so before deciding whether or not it's comfortable!

I didn't like mine, didn't fit my bum reet well. Get on much better with a normal saddle with shallower sides, but the proof is in the pudding and I'd recommended trying one.

be careful if you're expecting to get it wet a lot.

Agree. B17's good, Pro's bad (according to my bum).

For loooong days, they soak up sweat so help you keep dry and fresh 'down there'.

So to answer the question; no.

Planning on getting a B17 for the commute bike, although can't quite decide between normal or narrow version. No plans to use one off road as the leather doesn't cope so well with being ridden when really wet.
