Hi, when trying to remove my rear wheel last night the collar on the maxle snapped leaving me needing a new axle ( I haven't figured out how to get the old axle out yet either!).

Anyway I went on CRC and a replacement Maxle is £49.99 which seems very expensive, do I have any other (cheaper) options? The size is 142 x 12mm

Thanks

They may send you the later maxle which is a lot nicer to use (after I snapped mine, too)
