News from Detective Constable mountainbiker....
who wishes to remain anonymous...
about the thieving toe rag who stole me mate's custom bike...
" We charged a male from Knowle West with handling this
stolen frame, plus handling a stolen Trek 5200 carbon fibre racing
frame, plus handling an OnOne Prince Albert frame. He appeared at
Bristol Magistrates Court where he pleaded guilty to
all three counts. Due to the nature of the crime and the limited
previous offending history of the offender, it was decided that the
sentence would be a 12 month Community Order. "
RESULT!! Somewhere out there for the next year a toe rag will be painting cyclepaths and mending fences instead of thieving bikes AND he's now on the police's " people we'd like to visit " list if things get nicked again.
Well done Bristol Burglary Squad!
OnOne Prince Albert frame

So... they didn't cut his hands off? Bleeding guardian-reading liberals. Hangings too good for them, If I had my way........ etc etc
to be fair the bristol police do get a lot of practice
I've just heard that someone has been charged with handling the fishy Santa Cruz Bullit that pjt201 spotted on eBay a while back - the one with 5th Element forks, Saint pedals, an e13 crank and various other made-up components. So good news all round!
so he has been found (and pleaded guilty) and he gets a 12 month community order!
thats a disgrace especially as he probably wont turn up
