I'm planning a ride from Winchester to Taunton in 2012 and have managed to pick out a route which is mostly off road as far as Castle Carey but the section between there and Taunton looks a bit void of bridleway. Is there anyone local to there who can recommend any routes? Looks like there may be something Yeovilton way. I want to stay off road as much as possible...
