I've seen various conflicting reports.
I'll be around Cardiganin a few days, with a reasonably competent 9 year old (loves things like Cannock blue and Hicks lodge), and a 15 year old nephew who fancies a go on mtbs.
Brechfa blue looks ideal and is only 45 minutes away, but seems it may still be closed?
If not doable then any other suggestions that are at most am hour or so away and adorable for a beginner teenager (who's quite fit) I think the red may be too much?
I'd like more flow than tech!
Ta

According to the FB group page everything is now open apart from the raven trail which is the black. They're hoping to fully open the car park this week too apparently

You could see if Cwm Rhaeadr is open too - just a bit north of Brechfa. Short red trail but I remember if from a few ago as lovely and flowy fun. We rode it on the way to Brechfa from our accommodation - then road both the red and black joined together at Brechfa. That was quite a big ride.

Just been around the green and blue today - a fair bit of work done in places to the green, especially early on the route; I think the blue has been mostly left alone except for a wide new road up the main climb. A bit over a hour's riding (plus stops), still all very flowy and enjoyable.
