There'll be a good set of instructions on the shimano web site. You'll need to get the hoses out, trim them, probably fit a new barb and olive, pop them back in, then do a bleed. It's not too tricky. Get a proper tool to cut the hoses though as it's easy to make a mess of them otherwise.

Don't cut them too much - if you get bigger forks at a later date you can be in trouble...

If you have a Cromwell Tools branch near you, they do exactly the same for a little less here have been using these since I got discs, works well.

decent cutters make it easy, ive just fitted slx brakes to my bike yesterday, shortening the hose was surprisingly easy.
usually they come with a spare olive in the box afaik.
if you are reasonably competent you wont find it hard, although it is daunting if you havent done it before.

Loosen the hose nuts and unscrew, pull the hose out of the lever whilst wiggling it sometimes they can be quite stubborn to remove if you pull firmly but gently you will not loose any fluid and you won't have to bleed when refitting, cut hose to length don't need a hose cutter a new stanley blade on a hard surface and rock the blade as you press and it won't crush the hose, fit new olive and insert and push hose back into lever untill it stops and hold it there whilst you screw the hose nut up against it, then you can let go of the hose and tighten with a spanner slide up the rubber cover and presto your done.
