Hi Folks
Just wondering what locals think the trail conditions will be like this Sunday for the Brass Monkeys (Ash Ranges, Aldershot)?
I gather it drains pretty well, but it has rained A LOT, and will continue to do so looking at the forecast!

It'll be soft but rideable - the sandy soil will destroy your brake pads though so fit some fresh ones.
It just gets very splashy as long as nobody rides it when it's actually raining, in which case it can be a bit of a slog but never any bike clogging issues like mayhem etc. We raced there the day all the snow melted 3yrs ago and, whilst very wet, it was still fun.

Hmmm....
I'm racing again this Sunday - I can't say I have particularly high hopes for the conditions 😆
