Hi folks,

Scoping out a few trips for next year and looking at the Inverlael Forest area, just south of Ullapool.

From Inverlael at the head of Loch Broom, various forest roads lead to Glensguaib, after which two / three routes look possible.

I believe the stalker's path to / from Lochan á Chnapaich is good. (According to a walker's guide book) Has anyone ridden it?

Also interested in the track beyond the Eas Fionn waterfall - with a view to taking in Beinn Dearg. I don't mind if the last section / 200m between the lochans and the summit is not rideable.

And, The track to the north of these, which leads past Lochan Sgeirich looks like it has good potential - again, does anyone have any experience of these?

And finally, a separate book indicates a path which connects the route between Lochan Sgeirich and Lochan á Chnapaich. It is not marked on the OS map. I suspect this would be a bog trot / push and not worthwhile but maybe I'm wrong? (I am happy to carry on the climbs generally - I would consider joining the two tracks worthwhile if one provided a better descent and the other a shorter carry etc.)

Thanks
Will
