Anyone able to compare the Brand X Ascend dropper with the OneUp V2 post. I’m looking at the longer ones (200 and 210 respectively). I’ve heard good things about both but just wondered if the OneUp was worth the extra money. And it’s a hard tail so insertion length isn’t really a problem.

I have both and I way prefer the Brand X. I would go with that unless you really need the extra 10mm…

I can sell you a OneUp V2 120mm / 34.9mm BNIB for £70 if it helps.

I have one of each.

The brand x is about 40g heavier and has a much better seal. The one-up feels like its going to be less durable, but is on the bike I mostly use in the dry, so its not a direct comparison.

Even then, the one-up needs more regular servicing because it runs dry quicker.

I have a couple of each, both work as well as each other, if you need the extra low stack and adjustable air pressure the One up provides that may be worth the extra cost.
