I have a set of formula the one brakes and i always always have a slight bit of contact between the pads and at some point around the rotor.
does everybody suffer with this? Is formulas FCS system a form of pad contact adjustment?

Same on my Hayes, I've got the smallest, slightest, smiggen of a wee "shing" every revolution of the disc. doesn't bother me, and doesn't seem to affect the smoothness of rotation, so i just leave it. To e honest I've grown to love that gentle "shing" sound. 😀

take adjustable spanner, bend rotor where it contacts pad, solved.

straight disc and your OK
I doi like them to be completely drag free and silent but can put up with a tiny ting ting ting
