So now the Autum/Winter is upon us, which compound for brake pads works the best??
Sintered, Organic, Kevlar, semi-metallic or any other ive missed??
Out on the chase today, my brakes where useless towards the end of the ride, so need to replace! nothing but trouble these new Deores!!

I'd go for sintered in a wet muddy winter although the SSC kevlar are holding up well so far 🙂 Breaking performance is a bit down compared with the others but they will last a load longer 🙂

sintered all the time for me - and use good quality pads. I get many thousands of miles out of hope originals
