The rear disc rotor has started to rub on the mount on my hard tail. The mount and rotor don't appear to be damaged or warped, is there anything else that could be causing it?

Do you need to re-align the caliper?

Could be dirt or maybe the wheel has come out slightly - check the skewer?

By started to I assume that they are not new or just refitted. I have to say (not an engineer or a technician) but one of them has moved.

Rotor off and on a flat surface first.

Also by mount do you mean caliper, or the fitting on the chain stay or the bolts?

Could be the caliper has moved if it's rubbing that.

Remove, check rotor, replace rotor with out caliper and check then re mount caliper to see whats going on.

If not Bike Shop!!

the caliper is ok its the rotor rubbing on the mount I've had the rotor off and it seems fine. Think its down to the shop to get them to have a look.

Thanks
