Going over tomorrow, how has it survived the last two storms, is there anything I should know?
Also with 40mph winds predicted will they close the uplift.
It’s a four hour round trip so a real pisser if it closes after we arrive, and I realise the locals are struggling with flooding etc so I don’t want to hassle them, but I did email yesterday.

I rode BWP yesterday with my son (15). We stopped after 5 runs having got very wet and cold. He seemed to enjoy himself.

Some trail closures but not many. It's Wales, they're used to a bit of rain.

I’ve been in torrential rain and enjoyed it, more worried about a closure.
Yeah I’ll ring them.
Thanks

Instagram is pretty good for 'live' updates from the good folk at BPW.

Conditions were great, can’t believe how many trails they had open. Fair play to the crew at BPW, great as always.

Our 2 days were nothing short of brilliant. Day 1 was at Afan for epic views, twisty trails and seeing my lad struggling on the hills lol.

We had a blast, even though he found it tough!

The Premier in was awesome, lots of laughs, banter and a few beers! Great stuff fellas!!!!

What can I say about the day at BPW, it was excellent. My boy was absolutely on fire and flying down stuff, both mine and his bikes were exceptional. We both tackled more reds than ever and I did more drops than I thought. Including what has always been my nemesis, the one into vicious valley, did it! Boom!. But weirdly it wasn't the hardest of the day lol. We also did A470 and full Rim Dinner, as well as locomotion which has changed a lot since I last rode it, now with added drops!!!!
My boy just keeps getting better and the brilliant part is that he's pushing me on to improve as a rider myself, pushing me to try things, try harder things and go faster on bits.

Seeing Tricky riding them, brilliant, newbie with balls like watermelons!!!

Mrs Weeksy found it proper tough and after 3 big crashes called it a day. I was properly disappointed for her, but proper proud she kept going time and time again.

Give me the choice of the bpw day or a trackday, I'll take bpw all day, every day. It also helps I'm not nearly as rubbish at that!!!

Thursday and Friday for us next week. Making the most of the winter pass. I recon I’m a hundred quid up on the deal.

Conditions were great

We went and were on the self propelled uplift (pedals) as racing is coming & we need to get fit.

It was miserable. Windy as hell and ended up pretty cold and wet. They had most of the blues and reds running but a chunk of the more fun ones were out of action (understandably) and it was risky to hit the bigger jumps on some of the blacks in such blustery conditions.

We sacked it off just after lunch. 40k wasn’t a bad day still, but couldn’t ride a lot of what we wanted.

Better than a day at work though 🙂

HN that’s a shame, the uplift was a definite advantage in that wind. We have ridden all day in heavy rain so Friday seemed pretty good I thought.

I’m there Sunday, forecast is looking chilly! Ridden it before in snow and once in the woods gets way better!

Great fun yesterday, certainly riding from the start on untouched snow was sketchy. The woods were clear but wet, and running well. As the snow melted early it didn’t effect the day at all. Heavy rain today so we’ll see how long we last.

Same as above, thinking of heading up Sunday, but the weather seems to be wet with snow flurries, so might just head to Wind Hill instead, at least that place isn't high enough to get hit with snow, hopefully!
