mm mmmmm
Can't do that linking stuff, but after a lot of deliberation I think it has to be....... Heroes.
Not a massive Bowie fan, but Aladin Sane's a brilliant record. Drive in saturday's one of the best, but my fave's gotta be Panic in Detroit.
Not strictly a Bowie song but love this too . . . [url]
Heroes. I can almost cry to it.
and Suffragette City for memories of my dancin' days
Lady Grinning Soul. Probably my favourite song by anyone really.
Man who sold the world
Ziggy Stardust
Sound and Vision
At his best

I like this one, he's done a few of Bowie tracks.
Joxster, those Seu George versions are fantastic aren't they. At times I tihnk they're better than the originals, other times I think you can't call them covers, they're new songs in their own right.
Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) - Brilliant.

another vote for rock n roll suicide.
Heroes everytime...
Moonage Daydream.
As a massive Bowie fan...
Heroes is possibly my favourite,
Just had Weeping Wall on the Ipod which brought back memories of teenage angst listening to Low,
although I do quite like Outside; particularly "The Voyeur of Utter Destruction (as Beauty)" but that might be because of Eno's keyboards.
the ones i wish i could play on my guitar: the bewlay brothers, man who sold the world, janine and kooks.
2 other great ones are young americans and golden years.
there's no doubt more, but all my bowie albums are on vinyl and hav'nt been played for 20yrs at least.
brought back memories of teenage angst
i can clearly remember a moment in 1983 when i was 17, listening to 'all the young dudes' on my currys brand walkman, and the line 'who wants to be alive when you're 25?', and thinking 'wow! 25 is a long way away!!'
how time passes.
Heroes
but there are so many other greats:
Young Americans
China Girl
Starman
Life on Mars....
The first single I ever bought was Space Oddity, but if I remember correctly the "B" side was "Wild Eyed Boy From Free Cloud" not "Drive In Saturday" as the pic implies above.
the jean genie
ziggy stardust
life on mars
rock 'n' roll suicide
john i'm only dancing
suffragette city
diamond dogs
oh you pretty things
alladin sane
changes
but this has to be his greatest piece.

Sound And Vision.
For memories and being of the time it has to be Life on Mars, because I still know the words after however many years.
