Just getting a new to me C456 built up. Have dismantled the dropouts and am struggling to really tighten them up without the bolts spinning. I have now actually bought the specific tool for this so should be fine once it arrives - but just how tight should they be? Am assuming tight as **** is appropriate?

Nice and snug - with lashings of grease between the frame and plates worked ok for me!

I'm sure the bolt thru axels on my hard Eddie are spec'd at 8nm.
