Place your bets now. Looking at getting one of these and simply cannot decide between them. Will be used for xc/am and of course commuting to my place of work seen as it will probably be bought under cyclescheme. Advice please.
As a firm Spesh fan, and a lover of Konas, I have to say there's not much to tough those Boardman bikes. Great spec, they look good, even a proper 4-bar design. I'd have one like a shot, TBH.
A mate has the Boardman. Not sure how it rides but it can't beat for VFM. 120mm Reba with bolt through and elixir R brakes are real stand-out components and as PP says nice Horst link like the spesh. Not a heavy bike either.
Speaking as an 09 FSR Comp owner, you'll be upgrading the fork and shock within a year, to a level that the Boardman already has.
