Am I correct in thinking that there are some of these being sold off in Halfords?

If they are can anyone point me in the direction of the stores doing so?

Just out of curiosity, how heavy is a medium one>?

I thought they were sold off a while back, you'll be best off phoning your local stores. As I've never seen any of the frames (only) for sale in any halfords I've visited.
I bought one off here a while back, for a m8, and though I didn't weigh it, it was pretty light. The only thing i would complain about was the paint work was easily damaged and flaked when it was. M8's dead happy with it.

No heavier than 1.5kg, good frames, tripple butted for the highest spec model.
