any idea what the sizing is like on the boardman mtb's. Looking at the bargain 650b for a cheap mtb for my son, he's 6foot, but I'm thinking the 18" as I've always though 20" mtb's are far too unwieldy.

I have the 650B Team FS and use an 18", I'm about 5'8"/5'9". 18" would be a bit small for him I think.

I'm 6'3 and have a 22" carrera, if the geometry is reasonably similar I'd say 18 as an absolute minimum.. I'd guess around 20.
But as always it depends.. If he's wanting to do tech stuff and really throw it around, smaller, if it's for cruising then bigger.

He'll be more of a cruiser I guess so the 20" will be the better option then. Cheers.
