What's good, i'm working till midday tomorow in Cardiff, then driving back to London - ish. What is worth riding while I'm there or on my way back, I don't mind a bit of a detour... Only really into dirt/ trails or decent skateparks.

Haven't been to Caerphilly dirt jumps in a while so don't know what state they're in.
Skate8 extreme in newport burnt down a few months ago, there is a few decent bit s of street riding to be had in Cardiff, but would have to be fairly late as too busy most of the time.
What is the concrete park in Newport like?

The Patchway BMX track in Bristol is close to the M4/M5 junction, not ridden it myself though but supposed to be good... (Patchway itself is a shite hole though so park in the Aztec West estate) http://www.bristolbmxclub.com/track/track.html

I ride by that one most days and, if the weather is good, it's rammed from the time the schools kick out til sunset.
There's a concrete skate park and ickle pump track at the Peg Hill at the edge of Yate (a bit off your route) which looks good and is hardly used.... it's on this list/google for some pics....
