I've had the blackburn voyager mars combo for about a year then replaced the batteries 2 days ago. First ride after that and water has entered the battery cell and now my lights don't work. I know I put both battery covers back in correctly.Â
Anyone else had same issue and are the first lights under warranty even though I don't have the purchase receipt?
Don't know about the warranty but, can you not just open it up and dry it out?
That happens with some of my small back up lights and i just need to open them up and wipe away the water and then they're fine.
Tried that matey. I'm now trying the stick it in rice method
Blackburn have a lifetime warranty, just take it to your local LBS who stock Blackburn products, they can process the warranty through Madison, and you should get a repair or more likely the latest version of the light back.
As above, Madison (Blackburn importer) are awesome for warranty, should be no question replacement.
Thanks gents. Very reassuring. They ain't cheap
