It was my birthday on Tuesday, so I sacked-off doing anything constructive (the joys of being self-employed in a seasonal business!) and went out to finish a wee video project I've been working on. Inspired by a couple of similar videos that were on here a few weeks back. Pretty pleased with the results, but it's certainly laborious doing it solo - the 8 minutes or so of video took nearly 5 hours of trail time to film. Unfortunately, we got a dusting of snow a few days beforehand, which has done nothing for my continuity.
This trail finishes pretty much at my doorstep by the way!

Lovely looking trail. Film maybe a bit long. Where is it. When I went to the Passportes region the only bits like that I found were around torgon, Champery and the XC stuff out of Les Gets.
This isn't in the Portes du Soleil. I'm based in Sainte Foy, in the Tarentaise valley (close to Les Arcs, plus ski resorts like Tignes & Val d'Isere). That trail is a cracking example of what our riding is like round here - fast, flowing, tight singletrack. We have plenty of technical stuff too, but sometimes you've got to get your flow on! ๐
Know what you mean about the length of the video, but the project was about filming the trail, the whole trail and nothing but the trail. Still not quite finished actually, there's another few hundred metres at the end still to go, plus we normally ride it in combination with 2 more trails above and below that one.
