I did have a robin watching me dig over a new veggie patch last week in the hope of thieving a few worms - never when I have the camera out though!

No bike in this one, but pic taken of a cheeky sparrow trying to nick my large slice of raspberry sponge cake outside a cafe in Dresden.
Gave him some crumbs and he hung around for a while letting me take pics.

Filthy, like the middle pic a lot. My Dad reckons robins are the spirits of loved ones passed on or something. He feeds the garden ones cheese.

Non-bikey bird pic [img] [/img] - I think the Harris Hawk would have the robin and chaffinch as a small snack.

I ride bikes and draw birds if that counts.
Tufted Titmouse if anyone is wondering (a N/American Bird)

I think I saw my first wild Golden Eagle on Sunday which did get rather exciting. Couldn't be 100% though as it was only silhouetted.

Never heard that one before but he a was a friendly little fella, cant have been more than a foot away from me several times.

Nice pics FoxyChick but I think leaving breadcrumbs on the casette might be classed as cheating.

Nice work roper!
I used to work near alongside a disused rail line, a guy would come along with two harris hawks- they would catch assorted furries, was fascinating to watch

(Sees Reluctant's pic of the ikkle ducky, gets all soft and gooey...)

I can't resist baby animals. Soooooo cute! Must be some sort of nurturing instinct within me!

Some fantastic pics on this thread.

Roper; well, what can I say? That's amazing mate. That pic has life. Brilliant. I see what Simon Ralli is saying.

@ Roper - do you do commissions? If so can you pass on your contact details please?

CapnFlash - yes, the one in the pic was on a crillon (sp) but later we worked two others with ferrets, no luck though but a fantastic experience as you say.

foxy, i don't suppose you've got a higher res version of the robin with its little beak open, sitting on the seat, that you'd mind emailing me, would you? i would like to use it to make my gf a birthday card!

I do. Actually the drawing above was a commission for someone in Japan.
You can contact me at petemosca(at)hotmail.com. I also have an artists blog where you can see recent and ongoing work at http://petemosca.blogspot.com/

(you may recognise a drawing of another STW-er there)
