any reason I why I couldnt use it on some ZTR crests?
Seems very good value given that list price of all the bits would be around £35ish.

Nope, no reason at all. In fact, I think that's what I got with my hope/crest wheels from 18 bikes.

By the looks of it you will be fine as the hope kit has 25mm tape.
Thats exactly what I got with a pair of Hope Hoops with Stans ZTR, currently being battered down Todtnau DH bike park and working very well. It will be absolutely fine.
