In the process of kitting-out our new chalet! (Woop Woop!)

Looking for suggestions for bike racks.

Criteria are:

As space-efficient as possible (we've got enough space, but no point wasting it!).

Ideally free-standing/floor-mounted.

Cheap! (Need slots for about 20 bikes, so don't want to pay £75 per bike for a space-age Toppeak thing!).

Easy to use (bikes going to be coming in/out a lot).

Fits big bikes (most bikes will be chunky Enduro-type things, with probably a fair few 29'rs and fat tyres).

Doesn't need to be secure (will be indoors behind a very solid door!)

Won't damage bikes / will hold them reasonably solidly

Ideally I want to keep it simple with a few of this kind of thing:

The type where the wheel slots are alternately high/low so that bikes can be spaced fairly close without bars clashing, etc. would be good.

Anyone got make/model recommendations are ideas for a better solution?

We used wall-mounted hooks which held the bikes vertically at our old place - those were good, but the new place has slightly lower ceilings and I'm also limited in how much wall drilling/fixing I can do.

Bars clashing can be avoided by simply turning the bars

How about an uplift trailer copy.. Made from wood/metal and running along a wall? Not seen it done indoors but could be cheap and is a good use of space.

A-Frame from feedback sports. Just hang them by the saddle. You would probably need 2.
