Hi all need some help dropped my carbon scott bike in for a service in Tamworth for a service only to receive a phone call a day later telling me the shop was broken into and one of the bikes they stole was my bike.Where do i stand ? Any help would be great he did say the shop is insured but how long will this take what do i do in the mean time etc etc
Your bike will be covered by their insurance. I guess you'll have to wait for the insurance company to settle before getting paid out, unless the LBS agree to weigh you in for the value of your bike in advance..unlikely though.
It depends on the insurance company as to how long this will take. Bit of a piece of string situation.
Speak to the LBS and see what they can offer you, maybe lend you a demo bike or something?
Apply pressure by saying your bike is your sole means of transport and rely on it to get to work, see how that goes.
Hopefully lbs sorring it out once he has had confirmation insurance will pay out.
