Im kicking round Epsom area this SUNDAY, any good bike shop around there open worth visiting?
not really - closest is dorking or westcott. cycleworks (simon admit it) has turned pooh as well!
Freeborn in Esher by Sandown racecourse is 7 or 8 miles away.
This is actually the closest, and very good it is too:

Nope the closest is Corridori Cycles (Specialized Concept Store, Bianchi and Van Nicholas) in Epsom but they are closed on a Sunday.
Corridori is about as much in Epsom as it is in Dorking. Corridiori is Epsom Downs by Driftbridge. anyway depends what your looking for really.
Mr Whoppit - stop trying to stick up for cycleworks -you know they've gone all "road" and "tri" - ok the later would have been had it not gone up in smoke the other week - probably a revenge attack from the purists.. 😆
Head for the Hills in Dorking
Nirvana in Westcott
This is actually the closest, and very good it is too:
but the guy wants to visit one that will be open on Sunday...
Sui
And Epsom Downs is so far away from Epsom town center 1-2 miles?? against what 10 to Dorking???
Touché, although i refer to rootes1 comment!
I would never associate Corridori with Dorking. Good shop, shame it's not open Sunday.
Dauphin at the top of Box Hill for nice roadie stuff
Not many good shops open on Sundays. Corridori definitely isn't. No good shops in Epsom itself. I don't think that Dauphin is open on Sundays now.
How about some roadie bling - Sigma in Kingston? Is it open on Sundays?
As a left wing suggestion
Action cycles - Epsom (will be open Sunday). Look for Mike (known as/looks like Homer - is an ex employee from Cycleworks.Leatherhead).
He will order in most items for cheaper than nearly all local stores, almost at mailorder prices. Means you have to know what you want and then wait while he orders it.
Got a cracking deal on a set of totems off him.
Also nice guy, has a laugh/feel free to rip the pi55 in return!
That said Actions cycles - is mainly BMX land for youfs, not really a window shopping place.
Corridori - mainly road riding and limp wristed MTB.
Nirvana - westcott - good place Turner, Lapiere, Cube, Ragley stockist owner is an acquired taste - I find him v.funny.
head-for-the-hills Dorking - good place, stocks Ibis, sadly now has rd. section. Roger/dan good people to deal with.
Freeborn - Esher - has Eshershore next door if you have your bike with you. Very DH flavoured IMO.
Mr Whoppit - stop trying to stick up for cycleworks -you know they've gone all "road" and "tri" - ok the later would have been had it not gone up in smoke the other week
Actually, now you come to mention it, it IS full of weird skinny bikes these days. Oh well. I get good service, though (sounds like a last-gasp line of defence. Is.) 😐
very few shops these days are worth a special visit.
