I recently came across an article about bike security on bike radar, just wondering what peoples opinions on it are?
For me its a good idea and I hope if enough people register It should work really well.

Edit: Sorry if this has been done before.
The british transport police recently left a notice for www.immobilise.com which is a national database the police check for stolen goods (not just bikes). i've registered my stuff on there.
We use immoblise too
if my battered wreck of a bike were nicked the last thing I'd want would be to get it back when the insurance company will buy a nice shiny new one ๐ And I note the insurers, who might have the greatest interest in this, don't seem to be very enthusiastic.
There are several good (and free) bike registration services on the web. Regardless which one you choose, make sure to TAG it up in multiple places as shown in http://www.bikeregistry.com/install.php .
In the event it is nicked, the perp will prolly peal off or deface what he can see. The one he misses will be his undoing.....
