We will be in touch
I've just had to get my eldest a bigger bike, and she is now on a 20" Saracen Spice, but this is now too big to fit into the back of the car.
So, what is the best way to move these around? I was thinking of a Thule 9503, but that would require fitting a tow hitch to my Golf Plus. I have a Saris Grand Fondo for my bikes, but the smallest wheel size that will take is a 26".
Bought a Saris bones 3 bike carrier just the other week. Total & absolute pain in the arse to fit a kids Specialized Hotrock onto it.
I certainly dont recommend one of them.
Having had boot mounted, then roof mounted and finally towbar (all Thule), I wish we had done towbar earlier. The kids and mrs_oab can load them, it is simple and the bikes are damaged less.
Agree with other comment, have had all sorts of racks, now have an Atera towbar mounted one and it's great. Easy to put on, easy to load & unload. If my next car doesn't have a towbar I would get one fitted so I can keep the rack. By the way, we have two adult bikes and two kids bikes on it.
