you're going to need to specify your requirements. road or off-road? to see or for being seen?

What about something like this from c and b seen?

I've got their 1900 lumen light for off road riding and I'm impressed.

The Cateye 200XC front and Rapid Micro rear are decent and each charge seems to last a long while. They attach with elastic bands and once you get the knack can be removed in seconds. They are perfectly bright for commuting. The 200XC is on offer in Halfords for £18 at the moment, and there's a set of both on everyone's favourite auction site for £24.

Moon all the way.
I got a 360lm light which is ace.
£50 is a bit tight, as I would also get a back up rear at least.

Edit-

Then spend £20 on a rear.
