Ride planned and unfortunately my forks developed a problem yesterday so off for warranty inspection. I'd prefer a half decent bike so potentially looking for somewhere with demo bikes- going to try Mugdock and Dales, any other suggestions? Would need to collect Saturday PM and drop off Monday I think.

Cheers

Billy Bilslands (Saltmarket) do hire of the Whyte 9xx hardtail series.  I have always found them very accomodating.

I saw a decent range of hire bikes last time I was at Mugdock, I don't have much to do with Dales though.

Mugdock would be the obvious place for me

They do those whyte fristons too, I was going to hire one when I was toying with the idea of a gravel bike. Never did, though. I was in borrowing some tools to quickly fix and enquired about them, best phoning up first to book for those.

Mugdock don't have anything at the moment due to there last security problem! Either going to bite the bullet and buy forks as a backup set or hire from Dunkeld it seems. A lot of stress for one day but new venue for me and a decent crowd.. ho hum!

You’re going to Dunkeld? Just hire there
