My head is very big - mostly empty, unfortunately. Any recommendations for what brands of helmet to look for? Giro have XL sizes, but are hard to find near me, and I prefer to try them on in the flesh (skull).
Ideas?
my shiny noggin is 60cm and a fox flux fits with room for a buff
2nd the Flux,
having just gone from a XL Giro Xen to a XL Flux they are slightly different shapes, but the Flux comes with a good range of different shaped pads so getting a good fit is pretty straight forward
I have a 63cm head and find that specialized helmets fit nicely, fox flux too fits well
XL Giro Xen here, I found the fox uncomfortable and bulky, spesh are always reasonable.
UVEX seem to have the biggest range of adjustment I've found. Uses a proper all-round cradle unlike most helmets that just use one at the back.
