I never used to take much notice of all the geometry numbers apart from the TT length, but after riding my mates new Cotic Soul against my Inbred I could instantly feel the difference.

The Soul which has 71deg HA and 74deg SA felt much more uprigtht against the Inbred, and to be honest I'm not so sure I liked it, which TBH i'm sad about as I quite fancied buying a Soul.

The build and finish of the Cotic looks superb though

Anyone else noticed it, our is it my imagination 😕

It's not your imagination the Inbred is quite a bit slacker than the Soul, especially with 140mm forks which is how mbr tested it this month.

Not your imagination; Cy designed the Soul for forks <=130mm, and it is indeed a bit steeper and twitchier than many other HT frames.

I have to say it, my £300 second hand, rigid (well, nearly - flexy RC31s up front), Mary bar'd, singlespeed Inbred was more fun to ride than my tricked out Soul was.

I loved my Soul, but then bought a Dialled Bikes Love/Hate as a second bike. The Love/Hate was slightly slacker angles in the built I had, and I preferred it over my Soul. The Cotic is a beautiful frame though, shame I prefer a more laid back bike.
