I'm doing an Oxford - Cambridge - Oxford ride next month with an overnight stopover in Cambridge. There appear to be about a million B&Bs in Cambridge. Can anyone narrow down the list a bit for me and recommend a reasonably priced one with, crucially, somewhere to securely store the bike? Cheers!
Hmm, I live there so have never needed use a B&B, I'd assume you want to look for one not too far from Midsummer common as that way you'll be local to the finish line and close enough to town to drop out for food/drink in the evening.
If all else fails there is secure bike parking at Station cycles both at the main rail station and also in the basement of the car park of the Grand Arcade shopping centre. But most B&B's will no doubt let you store a bike somewhere.
