[Closed] bike-discount.de - Is it still the cheapest place for a Reverb?

Hi folks

I know the 'cheapest place for a Reverb' thread has been on here numerous times, but I'm starting to look for one and was wondering if bike-discount.de is still the best and cheapest site to get them from? Or are there any more up to date good offers anywhere?

I have been tempted to save that little bit extra and buy second hand but I want a full warranty and nothing beats a new shiny component!

Thanks in advance!

Haven't looked recently but hibike.de and bike24.net had some of the cheapest, depending on size.

After a recent issue with a product that I had to return to Bike-Discount.de I can really recommend them, they sent me a pre-paid returns label, and returned the repaired item to me very quickly.

Worth paying a quid or two extra for in my book.

Thanks for your reply guys. How much of a necessity is a bleed kit? Just seem to save a fair amount extra if you get a Reverb without one.

I'm not sure it ever was cheapest. Hi-bike.de have done me a couple now, even when merlin and CRC had some real bargains in, they didn't have the "common sizes" at those prices. Hibike did :D.

That collar just cost me £40 plus £50 for a service to fit it!

The collar is a travel reducer. I have no idea what it's for, other than it stops the dropper going all the way into the tube. I don't use either of mine.

You will need a bleed kit at some stage. You can buy the real thing for £40 quid, or an Epic or similar aftermarket kit off eBay for half that. I would suggest

Kinda thought that as that seemed the only place it would fit. Its got the potential to scratch the shaft to buggery has it not.

I know it's all personal preference, but do you find the 100mm travel is more than adequate? Or is 125 needed?

being a short ar se and the amount of post I had showing on static post i worked out that a 125mm drop post would be to high for me. The 100mm drop is more than enough for me.
