My old cateye mity has died (worn wires) and I'm looking for a replacement. Ideally it would be wireless and able to have a sensor each on the mtb and road bike, recognising the switch in wheel size but totalling up the mileage.
Does such a thing exist without spending a fortune? Looking at the online shops there seems to be massive choice but not many that do 2 bikes. Thanks for any help, in advance!
Most wireless cateyes will do that. You can input two different wheel sizes, then switch between the two when you put it on a different bike. Would need to buy a spare spoke magnet and sensor and mount though.

You see the A in the picture? That's for one wheel size. When you switch it to the other, a B is displayed.

watch out with wireless ones and powerful LED lights, my wireless Cateye wont work with my night riding lights.
Or HID lights.
My L&M lights shut my ciclo 'puter down.
