Jones and dales

There's only a handful of Jones in the UK that's why you don't see them too often, mine's tucked up next to my Cannondale road bike, the Jones get's out far more than the road bike.

Kona is looking to direct deal with retailers after splitting from their wholesaler/distributor early this year, so it depends on the sales force and the retailers as to see Kona will rise or fall within the next 2 or 3 years

When was the last time you saw a Raleigh? I think the last time I saw one, I was 12 and it was a Grifter!!

When was the last time you saw a Raleigh? And I don't just mean the Grifter!

I saw a new Raleigh road bike this week if that helps.

don't seem to see many cannondales and never seen an ibis mojo in the flesh, which is a shame as they're stunning!

Funny you should mention that, goodgugu...

I was driving today and overtook a bike on the pavement. It looked like an old style racer and, although I couldn't read the name, the style of lettering looked like Mercian.
I thought "Wow, a Mercian being ridden along the pavement in Kidderminster".
The traffic stopped, the bike caught me up and as it passed, I saw it was a Raleigh.

Jones and dales

There's at least three Jones's in my local area.
I see quite a few Dales too.

I seem to be the only Marin owner round here ๐Ÿ™

Mate has a Whyte 46 which is a close relative of the Marin.

Never seen a maverick in the flesh, though I guess they wouldn't be that common over here.

Funnily enough I think I've only ever seen one On-One when out riding, and it wasn't even at a trail centre.

on-one.

Couple of weeks ago, on the STW Delamere pootle, I remarked that it was the first time i'd seen an on-one in the flesh. Someone asked if I was new to mountain-biking. ๐Ÿ™‚

Never see Orange 5s around here. There are less gullable people who believe the marketing gumph and buy one. Most decide that they're rubbish to ride, and therefore get something decent like a santa cruz/intense. Looooads of my mates run nomads/blur LTs/specialneedz bikes

My mate here in Thailand rides a Create fixed gear, apparently very popular and trendy at the moment, look the business with coloured tyres etc, but no idea of their availability in the uk, even with a BS stamp on the frame
