Looking for a bike computer to record where I have been, millage Strava comparable etc etc also wanting one that does maps so I can download maps and trails on to it.

Use an old android phone and tether it to your mobile of you need connection.
Use Komoot for maps and satnav. Or OS app for the detail.
Works a treat.
