any ideas, please.
I like Mountain King 2.4s but I think I'm the only one.
Maxxis crossmark: 2.25 aren't too heavy and they're very big volume and very fast
Panaracer razor mx, got the PR version and am hoping for dry this summer so I can use them properly
RACING RALPH 2.4
Didn't like them last time I tried them, but I'm currently getting on quite well with Specialized Eskar 2.3's.
Gone for Control's rather than S-Works for extra sidewall protection.
Light-ish (obviously the S-Works are lighter), decent price and roll well. Not huge, but a decent volume.
Bontrager jones 2.35s?
Ardents?
Nobby nic 2.4s . Absolutely love them . Ralphs would be faster though
I run Nobby Nic 2.4's, really great trail centre tyres.
One of my sons runs 2.4 Racing Ralphs on his 24", quick rolling and strong enough - but then he's only 30kg.

I have just fitted some 2.25 Ardents which 'look' like they roll fast with a pretty big volume and i imagine the 2.4 are massive
Ralph 2.4s! some good deals about on them too!
Loving my 2.25 Ardents...
Kenda Cortez or Small Block 8's depending on how dry it is, I think I ran Small Block 8's from May to October last year awesome tyres ;0)
2.4" Rocket Ron, not quite as fast a Ralph but light and plenty of grip. Seem to wearing ok.
Advantages 2.25" kevlar version.
Reasonably cheap and large volume and light and grippy.
Don't go for the 2.4" version as that is really very big indeed...
Big Pete & I used these tyres on the Dyfi without any problemsWTB Mutano Raptor the 2.4" version is big volume and weighs around 600g.
Not great in mud but that's about it.
Kenda Small Block 8 in 2.35"
Unless you are riding lots of rocks, or in the wet, of course.
MK in 2.4 are appalling when you run anything lower than high pressures IMO.
