Had a bit of an "off" on the Beast at Coed y Brenin on Saturday, resulting in weekend stay in Bangor hospital ๐
Just wanted to say a big thanks to Shirley at the centre for guiding the ambulance so quickly down all the fire roads.
There are some advantages of riding at trail centres ๐
You all better now?
hope you are ok. healing vibes
Thanks guys - just a bit of a shin/tree interface, so surgery needed to take out all the bits!
That'll teach me to ride SS on a black run ๐
Bad news about the accident and hope you're back on the bike soon enough, however I don't see how gears would've prevented the accident
Pieface beat me to it.....
But I'll link back to this for the next I hucked of the North face of ben nevis on my single speed shopper post
however I don't see how gears would've prevented the accident
Hence the: ๐
get well soon mate......... 8)
Were you the one laying on the wall with a busted knee at the bottom of abel - ow - looked nasty - Big flap of skin? hope it heals well? Some of my riding buddies looked a bit white and scooted off before they got to nervous ๐ You looked relaxed on the wall though ๐
Thanks Ton

Wouldnt have happened if you'd gone fixed!
Hope you didn't damage the tree, what with the environment and everything ๐
Get well soon
Look after yourself and get well soon
X-Ray awesome
Yes, Shirley was very helpful when my mate used his head as an emergency brake a few weeks back.
shirley nust have been on her lunch when my lass bashed herself.
still it's not up to them to sort us out,we bailed to the fantastic folk at doll hospital.
I think the Forest Ranger who helped was called Hilary, rather than Shirley, but I'm sure if she's reading this, she knows who we mean!!!
Have to say, it was nice to see how helpful everyone was as well as how well the situation was dealt with by all those involved.
Doh! Yes - Hilary - how could I forget??? Bike and tree are fine I think
